  If you live in or near a city, you'll probably see N3 on the shelves
up to a week before the Sierra guys get any shipped.  And you won't
really get a "sale" price,
With N2 and N99 local shops had sales on them lower than the pre-buy
price.
However, if you are stuck away from the mainstream, then perhaps
checking in at the Sierra web site might help.

Well, I think hell would probably freeze over before Sierra gets the
'pre-order' folks before the stores. In my reading of this and other
*** groups over the years, they have NEVER shipped at even
the same time, much less before the product hit the store shelves.
Sierra has always went for the 'big sale'- in other words the volume
buyers, not the direct customers. My suggestion is go pre-order from
one of the good dealers-Electronics Boutique, CDW, etc, not Sierra.

Still kind of disappointed that Papyrus sold out to such a lousy
company just to get their massive disribution network.

Worst part for me: after installing N3 I'll have to hack my registry
again
