Well, if you like ICR2 it's an easy choice.  The Creative card, unlike all
the other Rendition cards, does not come with ICR2.  That aside there
really isnt much physical difference between them.  To run Rendition N2,
you obviously need a Rendition card.  Thus a Millenium-Monster 3D combo
will not help you here.  BTW, I'm running my Intergraph card at 37.5mhz
(1/2 of 75mhz bus speed) without troubles and I've heard of others running
at 41.5 (1/2 of 83) as well.

I am currently debating which video card to go with.  Since I love to
race N2, I am naturally looking at the Rendition varieties.  Do I go
with the Screamin 3D from Sierra or the Graphics Blaster from Creative
Labs.  Please post your comments.

Also, is it possible to use the add-on card such as Monster 3D with my
Millenium and still use the Rendition version of Nascar?

I am using an ASUS T2P4 overclocked to 83mhz x 2.  Does overclocking
affect these cards at all?

I run an Intergraph Intense 3D adapter.  This card is a very good performer
for N2 with
respect to graphics detail.  In general, details do not slow down game
performance like
with a traditional video adapter.  Also, the new beta Windows NT device
driver and their
Windows 95 drivers work very well.
No.

It is possible to run a Rendition card with a 3dfx(Monster3d) add on card
but it won't help N2 any?

Did that come out wrong? I was trying to tell him that the Rendition cards
work with the 3dfx add on's but the 3dfx add on won't help N2 any! There
that sounds better!

The Millenium is one of the best 2D cards on the market, if you replace it with one of the Rendition cards,
you'll be throwing your 2D performance out the window (all in the name of some clouds in Nascar2). If i were
you, I'd save my money and wait until someone puts out a Rendition daughter-board that you can add to your
Millenium - I must be coming soon.

it with one of the Rendition cards,
some clouds in Nascar2).

OTOH, that's exactly what I did (swapped out Millenium (a good one))
for Rendition.  Made a huge difference in the quality of graphics and the
quantity I can run (P133).  I got the Canopus because it has the best 2D
performance of the Rendition boards.  I'm happy with the change.  I can
run 85 Hz at 1024X768 and none of my 2D stuff is very graphics demanding.
