...More computer car crashes! Not just the single car spin into the
wall, but I mean like multi-car pile ups. I was doing a race the other
day and was in last place following the #33 car and the #30 car. Well,
going into turn one the #33 car spun up into the wall, while the #30 car
just went right through him!! Now, come on, but there was no way in hell
the #30 car was going to miss him. He should of smacked right into him!
I did manage to avoid him but not by much. I never see more than one car
crash, just the spin into the wall. It would be nice to see cars tap
each other and stuff. The only time there is more than two cars that
crash is if I cause the crash. Or like spin onto the wall then slide
down and tag another car. I know this sounds stupid but hey, I felt like
venting;)

Not sure about the driving through, but keep racing, you will see big
pileups...

I have seen a couple of multi-car pileups; most notably at Talladega when
I was running in the lead with 15 laps left on a 50% race.  I was coming
out of turn 2 and the spotter yells that there's a crash on the
backstretch - then there are cars everywhere on the backstretch - I got
off the gas and there was not an open hole anywhere from the infield wall
to the outside wall.  I T-boned Ricky Craven and ended my day.  Total cars
out due to the wreck was 15.  Kind of a Texas Speedway flashback :)

Don't worry, keep racing and you will see them. Just yesterday at Bristol I
was a lap ahead of the field, about ready to pit and I came out of the 4th
turn and the spotter barely got "theres a big cra" out of his mouth and I
saw cars everywhere on the straight. I hit Elliot and ended my race right
there. There were cars from the wall to the pit wall. Nothing to do, and
nowhere to go. You will see them, usually in the worst possible place.

Has anyone tested whether cranking up the computer drivers' aggressiveness
causes more accidents??

I was running a 300-lapper at Bristol when at about lap 72, the spotter
calls out "Wreck on the backstretch".  I had just come out of turn 4, so I had
plenty of time to slow down.  When I got to the backstretch, the field was
almost stopped, so I dove to the apron, and passed the ENTIRE field right
there.  When I went back and looked at the replay, Mark Martin slid up out of
the groove in turn two, and tagged the wall.  When he came back down across
the track, he did so right in front of a group of cars, and Lake Speed, Bobby
Labonte, and Bobby Hamilton got involved.  Speed spun and hit Mark, then he
hit the inside wall.  Bounced back up across in front of Labonte; the 18
slowed, and the 43 hit the 18 car.  All 4 cars wound up parked across the
track, which is why the field was stopped.  I made it back to the line with
the WHOLE field a lap down!

out of

The same exact maneuver that Dale E. performed at last week's Food City
race in Bristol.  It got him back in the lead lap and an eventual 6th
finish, from what I've heard.

Now that's a neat trick.

Maybe at the short track a little more bumping done by the AI cars.  But
they would need not to spin out as easy.

Put the AI with 990 of aggressiveness (max of 999) . Now you will see a
difference,

Ive seen both happen at once. At 'dega #28 spun out in the trioval, 6 or
7 cars crash into him anto eachother, and another 15 or so were backed
up behind. Then, some other cars went speeding through the whole mess!
I guess 30 car wrecks really dont happen anymore in real races, so the
overall AI results are ok.

Put the AI agressiveness at 990/999 maximum.  Now your runing against 39
Irvan's.  Pretty cool.  Each +/- 20 laps at Bristol there is a JSpencer
type of driver who spin off comming out of trun 2 or 4.  Pretty close of
the reality.  And you always have suicidal passes from the drivers and
they sometimes make pretty close to the reality wrecks.  But it's not
always like reality.  Per example.  I'm running at Bristol.  There's a
big wreck comming out of turn 4 (MSkinner bumped GBradberry).  I'm
comming out of turn2 when my spotter tells me "Go low!!!". So I go low
into turn 3.  That's when I see 20 cars shaking left and right stopped
in the banking.  I just pass all the cars to get in front of the field
on the yellow flag.  And it looks really like the #3 move at Bristol.
Why did they not get to the yellow flag??  That's how you can tell that
AI are not humans.  Thanks a lot,

You NEED to try out Hawaii.  I would recommend a field of 20 or more
cars, damage on, and run maybe Bristol.  OHHHH MMYYYYY!!!
