I've been experimenting, watching several races and there's rarely any
breakdowns, any way of fixing this?
I went to the players ini file and changed the MechanicalFailures=0 to =1
and after every championship race it reverts back to =0. I even went into
each car file and turned the reliability down to 0-5, still same results.
It must be a bug or am I missing something?
I didn't pick up N4 yet, so excuse me if this seems like a stupid
comment, but can't you just set them from a menu instead of editing
the .ini?
What I was wondering is that if they are switched "off" in the menu
and "on" in the .ini, if they'll be reset by the interface as soon as
you fire up a game.

Rarely breakdowns?
Man, I've blown more gears and blown more tires, and had more air-wrench
jams and dropped lug nuts than I ever thought possible :)
Last weekend, I had the FIRST clean start I ever saw at Talladega. Made it
completely around 1 lap where no one was stupid.
Then, going into turn one on the second lap, whammo! LEFT front tire blew.
Debris I guess :)
We won't talk about the 1/2 the field I took out as a result :)
Oh, and losing 4th gear at Daytona _really_ sucks, especially when you were
running 3rd.
