Steering wheels

Hi there. I'm thinking about getting a wheel and pedal combination for use
with games such as F1GP2 and TOCA. Can anyone recommend a decent one? I saw
an ad for the Digital Edge F1 Sim Compact, is this any good? Cheers.

I have a *full* size F1 Sim, and it is one of the best wheel and pedal
combinations on the market. The F1 Sim Compact is the same system, but
with a "D" type steering wheel, (instead of a standard "O" type, or
round steering wheel), and it also has smaller plastic pedals.

I have seen the F1 Sim compact up close in a few PC stores, and I have
to say the pedals do not look too good? they are plastic and do not
have much movement, and appear to be close together. However, the
steering column and wheel appear to be the same quality as the full
sized product.

If I were you I would pay the extra and get the full size F1 Sim,
because the pedals are as important as the wheel, and I think Digital
Edge have compromised the quality of the pedals to get a cheap system
on to the shelves?

The pedals in the full size system are made of steel (as per the wheel
and steering column) and are fully adjustable in rake angle, tension,
and ***, and are a very nice size, and are styled on real F1
pedals.
