Twitch pedals from soundcard??

by Rick Mille » Thu, 22 Oct 1998 04:00:00

I just built a new computer (with the aid of a good friend who does it a few
times a week) and when I hooked up my wheel and pedals to it the pedals
won't calibrate out because they are so jumpy.  My puter is a PII 350 and
the sound card is an ensonique.  Other analog joysticks work fine with it
although my MS sidewinder 3d pro sometimes doesn't get recognized.  I was
thinking of possibly putting one of those Thrustmaster game cards in my
puter in case the problem was in the sound card.

Could someone please help me with this.

Thanks,
Rick Miller

Twitch pedals from soundcard??

by Rick Mille » Fri, 23 Oct 1998 04:00:00

I hate to respond to my own message but i left out a piece of information.
My wheel and pedals are home made off of plans from Wally's and it's just
the pedals that are twitchy.  I've hooked up new pots and no help.  Also,
when I hook it up on my old computer it works fine, a P166.

thanks in advance for any and all help,
Rick Miller
