X Car is Out: Thoughts?

The released version's controls are unchanged.

Gee, thanks...  ;)

Actually, the game tested and reviewed was a version we looked
at back in Feb, which I feel had much better control (although the
graphics weren't as good).  Bethesda was to release that version
in April, but held back to do some more tweaking, and I suspect
that this is where the input problems occurred.

FWIW, I stand by my quote on the box.  I just hope Bethesda
can come up with a fix soon, as I'm dying for a solid race at
Seattle!!  =)

Cheers!

X Car is Out: Thoughts?

The full release version of X-Car is out (in US Electronics Boutique
Stores anyway).  Anybody had a chance to try it to see if it's better than
the demo?  I didn't care for the handling of the cars in the demo myself,
nor the odd design of the cars.  The box art is full of blurbs from game
magazines hyping this as a new classic in simulators, but we all know how
meaningful those are.

The game was very pricey at first ($57.99), but the price has since been
dropped to $52.99.  Thanks for any input.
