fuzzy wuzzy was not always fuzzy was he?

Hi Folks

I just got myself a x800xt and was curious
if any one was had problems with n2003.
It seems the textures are fuzzy with the TA
Mod. The original mod has the whole***pit
blurry, and in the wildfire mod the ai cars are a little blurry.

F1 Challenge on the other hand looks great at 16x12
6xaa and 8x af. 97 fps at spa alone on the track.

I also reloaded GP3. Starting in the rain at Monaco with
a full field, processor occupancy was between 20 and 50 %
The graphics were maxed out.
Turning down the graphics to there lowest setting got the
processor occupancy down to .005 with one car on track!

Forgotten battles (gpl in the air) maxed out at 16x12
flying low over a city by the water my FR never dropped below
40.

For a reference point my cpu is an Athalon64 3400

If Texture Preference in the ATI Panel is at Maximum Performance, try upping
it a notch.

Ok... kick it up a notch in terms of quality to "Performance."  There, ya
happy now? :)

Dave, when you have teh drivers set to best performance, the PQ is much
lower than if you set it to best image quality, in fact they are at opposite
ends of the spectrum.

OpenGL? Try Direct3D.
