I've been bitten ...

I've just gotten started driving sims, but I've noticed y'all are out there on
the edge of 3D.  I've got a Gateway PII 233 with 32 megs, Wavetable sound card
and nVidia video card.  I really want to upgrade so I can have better 3D,
detail and frame rates for Nascar 2 and for GPL when it comes out (the demo is
beautiful, but I've got to turn off a lot of detail to drive it.)

From similar inquiries I've read here, seems the running opinion leans to
Voodoo.  Do I need a Voodoo II or can I get by with VI?  And do you think
putting another 32 megs of RAM would help, or will the 3D accelleration be
enough?  (as if anything is ever enough!)

I'd appreciate your thoughts!  Thanks!
