Yup, I've seen them, but only at Michigan.  And if I scrape the wall (car
damage off, of course :-)), the smoke that I make stays too!!  But this
happens only infrequently, and exiting the track, then going back solves
the problem.  I'd say though, that this occurs only about once in every 10
to 15 visits to Michigan, and exiting and re entering ALWAYS seem to
relieve the problem.  Odd though.

I have seen this, too.
It happened after I played around with many different graphic detail
combinations at Michigan, but it never came up with my normal
(low detail) graphic setup (only horizon, smoke/dirt, *** on road
and nice tires).
