F1GP-Tire Grip??

I have been trying to install my tire-grip editor. I am not sure what level
to set the tire grips at to make the computer cars equally competitive.
Currently I drive in ace level without aids and turn in lap times around a
second faster during qualifying than computer cars. What number am I supposed
to enter when the program asks me to set the tire grip. Has any body done this
and how does it change the program.

Yeah, I'm at around that pace as well, except at Monaco where I lap
the entire field twice at the highest level. If anyone has managed to
make the computer cars competitive (the grip editor sounds like a much
better way of achieving this than the top speed editor) then please
let me know.

John

I've got my tire-grip at 15, though this makes it very hard at some circuits
to qualify in the top 10.

I have found that setting the computer to 5 grip and the best team to 690
hp and you at 650 gives very good competition and almost realistic times.

Forgot to add, for you guys who think you're really hot, try 7 grip.
Competition is pretty tough, but for the really good players you may still
have a chance to win the race.  10 grip is almost impossible to win, except
for Monaco.
