Does anyone know of a website (or an NG that would be more appropriate)
that gives helmet painting tips or instructions (for a REAL helmet, not a
sim helmet)? I'd like to paint my
own instead of paying someone...

I realize this isn't the appropriate website, but this is the most widely
used NG of the racing community that I'm aware of

I don't have any areas to tell you where to paint it, but you have to be
REALLY careful. You have to make sure that you aren't compromising any of
the materials inside of the helmet. That is why it costs so much more to
paint a helmet then it does to paint a car (per sq foot at least.)
