Um, did you see Japan '89, when Prost drove into Senna to keep him from
passing at the chicane? It's obvious if you stop the tape just before
the cars touch - Prost turned in so early that he would have gone off
the track if Senna's car wasn't there to stop him.
Prost only won one more championship than Senna, and he was in F1 for
three more seasons than Senna was. In equal equipment, Senna dusted
Prost, and in unequal equipment (Prost's car was better in '90 and '93)
Senna still won a championship and carried the fight much further than
anyone else could have - nobody else could have won 5 races at McLaren
in '93.
Senna consistently got more out of his car than Prost, and if not for
Imola, we would probably be watching Senna win his sixth championship
this year.
Nothing against Prost - he was a great driver, a good embassador for the
sport, and a basically nice guy, but he was a VERY political guy who
liked to pretend he wasn't.
