I recently upgraded to Nascar 1.21.  However, my car seems to be
slower.  I used to scream around Taladega at 195+, but now I'm lucky
to get 185!  I am using the exact same setup as before I upgraded.
What happened?  Any suggestions?

First, you aren't imagining things.  Second, if you work on the setup, you
can go 194-5.  Third, that was done by Papyrus to try and bring things down
to reality.  194-5 is tough to do for the big boys and now it's tough to do
for us as well.

If you are upgrading from v.1 you now have less power than you did before.
 You
might have been useing a 3.4 final gear, try going to a 3.5 or 3.6, drive
smooth and your speed should come back, maybe not to 195 every lap but at
least 193 to 194.

Speeds at Talladega under version 1.2 are approximately 6-7 mph slower than
with version 1.1 to more accurately reflect the current speeds there with the
latest cars.
