Talladega Redo

I was wondering about the redo on Talladega I have senn on here alot about
them redoing the Tri-oval.But what about the whole track especially the turns
because in the real race at Talladega in the race you will see the guys
running high, not just for qualifing but in the race as well you will see the
guys running 2 to 3 wide in the turns without losing speed no matter if they
are high or low.For example you will see that the high line sometimes is a
little quicker and the bottom line will need more cars at the bottom in a
draft  to run side by side with the cars on top.You will also see that alot of
the passes will be done above the car being pass (not all the time but alot of
the times).Where at on Nascar Racing the game the high line in a race is so
much slower than the bottom line which isn't right. One other thing is that the
gears everybody is running on the game is way off from the real cars everybody
runs from a 3.6 to 3.4 fourth gear where as the real guys run a 2.9 to a 3.0
4th gear.I was just wondering if any of these differences will be changed in
Nascar 2.

        Thank you

Talladega is one of the three tracks that they just scrapped
completely and redid completely from scratch.

I would certainly hope they redo the whole track.  Hopefully the beta testers
will know how the track is run and be able to relay that to Papyrus.

As for the gearing, Papyrus needs to change the power band on the restricted
engines to accomplish this.  For the real cars, a restricted engine's power
band peaks around 6500-7000 rpm, where, for an unrestricted engine, that peak
is between 8500-9000 rpm.
