FFord/Silvertone; Mclaren 'Champions Of The Future'?

I don't usually post reports about test days, but this morning was particularly
pleasing :)))) Today 'Chaz Small' was among us during the lapping sessions.
Chaz Small has raced in the Mclaren Champions Of The Future kartign
championship with much success, mixing it with one of Dario Franchitti's
cousins, and back in Feburary when he was on the same course as me to get the
race liscence he was very quick. In fact, he didn't stay with us for very long,
he moved up to the Jim Russell Vauxhall Jr series, which races on the actual GP
track at Silverstone (The club section, anyway). But today he was running with
us on the Stowe circuit and I just managed to out pace him. He wasn't very
happy about it, and I managed to impress the instructors! :-)) I'm very
pleased. Extremely pleased, in fact. I thought missing out on all those years
of Karting would have an adverse affect on my 'career'. But not today :)

Can't stop smiling,

Rob Swindells
4th in Goldline Bearing FFord Championship (12 Points);
8 points behined Championship Leader (as of round 3 of 6)
