Screamer 2 is a really fun game with beautiful and terrain.  It

Miata, Toyota Supra, Acura NSX, and the Porshe 911.  It supports
modem/network play.  You can drive at 3 tracks in arcade mode plus more in
the championship mode.  I think the game is lacking in some areas though.
The cars are pretty unrealistic even though the cars weren't named by
their manufactured names.  How can they go from 0-60 in less than 3
seconds?  You should be able drive at night with 8 HELLA RALLYE driving
lamps mounted on your front air dam, just like real rally. There should
also be rain and windshield wipers.

you get something faster than a P200.  I drive at low res 65K colors on my
P133 w/ 4MB DIAMOND VIDEO card for higher frame rates w/ full

is slower.  And, 65K is undriveable (under 15 frames/minute).  I love this
game and recommend Screamer 2 to drivers with a lot of skill (knowing how
to powerslide and win), and have something faster than a P200.  MMX maybe?

I agree they are a little unrealistic but it is an arcade game and not
a sim. As to night driving, look out on the later levels (there are 7
tracks in all once you complete the championship rounds). You also get
to drive in fog!

Yep, shame about the framerate. Low res, low colour is best in terms
of response. Hi-res is just about playable on my Cyrix 166, but for
hi-color you need at least a P200. Shame about the lack of accelerator
support as well...

The key to good framerate is your video card. I find hi-res, 256
colours is the best mode on P120 and up with a decent vid card. The
Diamond cards, old and new, that I have had experience of had poor DOS
performance and badly bug-ridden Windows (3.1 & 95) drivers.

I find the 64k colour modes are optically hard to distinguish from 256
- so why bother with them ?
