I have been banned from there. If I re-register using a different name can I
re-enter or do I need another CD.

Thanks,
Vic

ps: not a wrecker, but I guess I ruffled the wrong feathers

I don't do pickup races anymore, so I don't know, but are there other "open"
servers OTHER than the one you got banned from?

If there are - just join those.  Why are you so "worried" about trying to
get back in that one?

What the hell did you do?

It doesn't take much on Openspeedway.  Some are pretty thin-skinned, have a
bit of a God complex.  Especially if you ain't one of the "Good ol' boys".

Not all of them.  Some of the moderators are super.

Victor,

The server remembers your unique key associated with your CD. You would
need both a different CD and a ID that is not associated with the old
key/CD to get back in.

I cannot understand, when we are losing so many people in NR2003 SIM
racing, why some server managers want to make bad PR and risk running
more folks off.

Actually, this is partially correct.

I think you can be banned by screen name, and banned by CD Key.  I believe
only  Sierra can ban by CD key and you have to do something really, really
bad (like obvious cheating) for that to happen.

No larry,

your uniquie identifier is (which is partial string of numbers, from CD key)
can be entered and banned on servers, if you know how to do it...  it was
simple, I just cannot recall exactly, the process we did it all the time
with our private paid for servers that were up on sierra.

Only Sierra can ban you from Sierra though.

If it was me I wouldn't go through the process of buying a new cd. I
would just go to their forums and ask to be reinstated. Less costly.
Or even ask one of their admins in the lobby.
