Can anyone point me to a copy of that WSC advert someone made a while ago?

It was a big jpg advert printed supposedly in the reign of King James or
something, full of olde worlde wording and the like. Google didn't manage to
get it (just found a bunch of broken links). Ye brothers Weste, etc.

Cheers
Jim

Thanks Mikkel, I tried RSC, no luck though. Mark's posted in nearly 1000
threads and I'd need weeks to go through them all. :0(

bit ugly afted the advert was posted ;) I'll mail you the direct link.

Thanks Mikkel, but that wasn't quite what I was looking for! Seems there
were two of these adverts made then - the "other" one is the one I want. I
remember it being very well worded, looked like someone had put a lot of
time and effort into making the layout look and sound genuine..... my
girlfriend teaches History to ***agers and she's been making posters for
some project and I thought the "Frefhe fromme ye presses of Thos. Kempe"
advert would help her out.

I'll keep looking :0)

*doh*
You might try asking either at the West racing forum, at the RSC forum or at
the HG forum....
someone somewhere is bound to know where it is ;)

I searched through my files and found one JPG of the advert as I
remember it. Don't know if it is the one you're looking for, but you
can find it now under www.tgass.de/images/wsc.jpg

If you are looking for real 17th century adverts, you might find some
examples in the Riverside Shakespeare, IIRC.

Wolfgang that's exactly the one I was looking for, thank you!

Hopefully my girlie will find it useful - after 5 minutes of fruitless
searching I was more looking for it just because I couldn't believe Google
hadn't pulled it up, rather than because she needs it, but still, yay!

Cheers
