After asking where all the other drivers were, I am deeply
embarrassed to say that there is a family gathering (my wife's)
tomorrow in honour of a sister-in-law up visiting from Tennessee.
It's either race with you and think seriously about which lawyer I'm
hiring to defend me in divorce court, or meekly head off to the
luncheon and miss the race.

There will be free beer at the lunch.

Hmmm, race or free beer. Kind of a no-brainer decision, I think.

See you next weekend.

I did manage a 1:23 -- once -- but my times were more in the 1:26
range. I suspect I would have just annoyed the Hell out of everyone
else who is faster than that anyway. All y'all can thank me later.

I don't think I'll be there either.  After 10 laps at Monaco in F1C, I feel
dizzy. :-p

All the track side objects whizzing by so quickly make me nauseous. I even
tried turning them down to minimal, but it made no difference. Never had
this problem at Monaco with any of the other F1 games.
