Ok, being burned out from playing everything else lately, I
tried the demo of Re-volt.  Oh my goodness what fun!
So I picked up the game.  What a BLAST!!!  Ridiculously fun
and just a real crack-up laughing good time multiplayer.

Has anyone unlocked all the cars?  I assume there are gas/glow
cars from the "classing" of early stuff.  I haven't really
concentrated on winning all the trophies. (yet)

I like the game, BUT....
When I try to race the Museum track I get about half way through it, where
you go up the escalator/conveyor belt and to the end of that room and it
kicks me out to the Win98 desktop.
Also the buttons in the Track Editor are a little slow to respond, and I
can't figure out how to get into a track once I've made it and saved it (not
that I've not had similar problems with other editors...).
On top of all that I just snapped the spring on the accelerator pedal on my
Formula T2   :(

You're lucky.  I can't find the dang game anywhere.  Whoever is the
distributor is, they've really messed up on this one.  Even online
ordering is patchy-- some places don't even list it, others say it's
on backorder and can take longer than 30 days to ship.

I too have played the ***out of the demo (and can consistently win
that track), and I'm ready for more, dammit!  Heh, heh, but NHL2000
comes out on Wednesday, so my game time will probably be dominated
after then.

I'll bet it's the pits when you develop an awesome and fresh game like
re-volt, only to have the distributor throw a monkey wrench into the
process.  Of course, that's an assumption-- but I doubt the
development shop decided to only release the game to like 5 different
stores around the country!

That would be great... gas-powered on a dirt track, ah the memories...

Doesthe full version of Re-Volt support the LWFF ???

I've got the demo, from a computer *** magazine, and it's a blast to let
off some steam, but doesn't support Force Feedback

Thanks

Just played the full game with MSFF wheel, It certainly has FF support,
though it's too heavy and slow in default setting.

Well I want to revise my estimates:

Its buggy.  VERY VERY if you play lots of lan play.  holy crap,
I've never seen a machine lock up so damn much!  Always in the
"server restarted" segment.  And if I try and use my SLI V2's,
it takes about 3x to load as everyone else.  (so I use my Matrox G200)

Multiplayer lan play is ALMOST as much fun as when we first
discovered Bomberman on the NES.  Holy ***its fun!

Off to drive my R5 turbo and UFO!
