I was out on the MP info web page checking on my stats when I noticed
that it said there are now three amateur drivers...Does anyone know what
it takes to become an amateur driver.

From what I've seen it takes multiple starts at EVERY track.......
Plus, lots of money for long distance or residency in the Boston area.....

The emphasis must be on quality starts. Pick a track that your best at
in each classification and concentrate on finishing well at each of
those tracks about 10 times. League racers will advance better than
pickup racers.

Thanks for the input.

Excuse my ignorance, I'm not sure I recvd all of the posts concerning
this (above), and I'd like to make sure I have this straight. To
achieve amatuer status, you have to have a certain FPavg at each of the
different categories of tracks; speedways, one mile ovals, short tracks,
& road courses? If so, what is this FPavg? Are there other factors?
Please forget all of the other sarcastic ***you've recvd on this and
give us the real skinny. Especially whatever is going to pertain to NRL.
As I've said in earlier emails to you, I'd like to say in this group,
THANK YOU!! for the MP Analyzer. Its Excellent!

We are not yet ready to disclose the NRL divisional structure. The
"amateur" concept has to do with NRL divisions, not a change in the
way skill levels are calculated.
I'm sorry that I can't give you more information at this time, but I
do want to make sure that people understand that the information on
David's site was unauthorized and incorrect.
