Disappointing for a rally fan, I'd say.  Unrealistic crashes
(touch any car, even lightly, and you spin down the road
like you are on a trackball).  Wait for Codemasters Colin McRae
rally to see if it lives up to its promise.  See a preview
at www.game-online.com

: I logged onto 3dfxmania to pick up some of the latest motorcycle
: racing games (Honda and RedLine), and boy was I dissapointed...
: Motoracer is still the king of 2-wheel racing game, IMHO.  Then on the
: list of the racing games, I notcied that I've never tried this IRC
: thing.  So even though it was D3D only, I downloaded it and gave it a
: try (I love my T3).
:
: After playing the game for ten minutes or so, I think I like it better
: than any other PC racing games I've played.  I'm not much of a sim
: racer or a die-hard arcade fan but I like it when the cars drive
: sideways :)  Besides, I love Lancer Evolution IV featured in the demo
: (if it was Ev III, I'm sorry.  I don't have a photographic
: car-database memory).
:
: In fact, I like this game better than the other PC "rally" games.
: Sega Rally sucks on PC and Screamer Rally isn't right.
:
: Is the full version of this game as good as the demo?  If so, I want
: to buy this game even though the frame rate/graphics isn't top notch.
:
: P.S. One thing I don't like about the demo is the missing sound...the
: backfire sound from the missfiring-system.  It's an annoying sound but
: it'll add a touch of realism...I think.

Hi, Yhe game is much better then the Demo. Sound is great. It is like
this is the "sleeper" of the last two years.
