Some of the new tracks are great though.  I quite like Adelaide 2002 - very
modern looking.

I stopped driving GPL after several years of loyal *** (I bought the sim
in the first week of its release) because of horrible sound distortion . Has
there been developments that solved this?

I run XP on a Athlon 1400+, Sound Blaster Live.

   There are some workarounds, but your setup seems to be the exact one
that is most prone to the problems.  Try googlin for gpl sound problems and
you'll find plenty of others like you.
