Welcome to the inaugural ASRG 500, where 38 Australasian drivers fight it
out over 500 miles to be crowned the King of the Super Speedways.

The race will be held at Talladega on April 27th, just 1  week after the
Talladega 500 has been run. The race will be 100% race distance with all
options turned on.

There will be qualifying races to determine who will participate in the main
event and also a last chance race if you were unlucky enough to miss out in
the qualifiers, all the detail can be found in the "information" section.

Podium finishers recieve a Bronze plaque to hang on their walls at home.

The 2 super speedways, Daytona & Talladega are the only 2 tracks where
"slower is not faster" and there's really not much to say about getting
around this track. It's pretty much put the pedal to the metal and keep it
as low as possible.

About the only tricky thing is if you get too low on the apron, there's a
good chance you'll spin the car out.

Find a partner and draft, draft, draft. Team work wins these races.

This event is open to all Australian and NZ racers.

Regards,
Parry

My Mom traveled to New Zealand once, and brought me back an All Blacks
Rugby shirt.  My wife's financial advisor is a Kiwi.  And if I use the
toliet bowl brush I can make the water swirl backwards just like down-under.
Will that Qualify me as a Downunderer to compete?
