going to buy NASCAR - have experienced IndyCar on disk last winter on my
486\25 and found it exciting. my CD-ROM is only a single speed and the
CD version recomends a double speed CD-ROM.  What are the results of
running this version at single speed? Or would I have a better product
by buying the floppy version?  TIA

I'm running the CD version of NASCAR on a 486SX/33 (single speed ROM
drive, running it from the CD). It takes a bit longer to load tracks etc..
but it plays just fine.

Now I need more memory......lots more memory!
