Rendition News!! I finally had the chance of chatting with Chris Dunphy. I
asked him several questions of interest, and I post what I found out: Hot News:
Rendition have RRedline up and running under the Win9x drivers. (The API, not
the chip). And 32bpp is now supported in RRedline. The next release of the
Win9x drivers should have both these fixes. They are throwing a bunch of other
changes in now too. Rendition will post it as soon as they have a stable build.
Could be fairly soon.
Press Release: Rendition will post a press release next week. The long awaited
White Paper maybe a week later. The press release wont be a product
announcement, but news that shows Rendition's commitment to the future. Look
for it to hit business wire next week.
RRedline: the project is still alive!! Rendition still might release the
chip. The decision on what to do with the RRedline still has not been made.
Final Fantasy VII Final Patch: FFVII patch is still being worked on. No new
ETA.
Take it to the RRedline 2: Still pending.
The final message for Ren***ed people from our friend Chris: "Spread the
word that we are growing and are more interested in ever in being the
performance leader".
