Specifically, look at the news section for "11/06/01", for the second

IMO these textures are all pretty well done.  They add some additional
trees and tree textures, change the armco on the banking and a few
other things.

The one change I didn't care for in this texture update, though, is
the elimination of the dirt that's between the grass and the track.
The update makes the grass come right up to the edge of the track,
which looks a little too "tidy" for me.

So, if you want to retain that strip of dirt, *don't* copy the
following two mip files from the texture update into the \milano
directory:

dirtlft.mip
dirtrgt.mip
