Question - Wheel Combos

Hi guys,

I have used Thrustmaster's combo's  T1, T2 and the Nascar Pro.  About
three months ago I bought the Madcatz Andrettiwheel.  The Madcatz
pedals just simply suck.  Right now I'm using the Madcatz Wheel for
steering/shift/etc and my TM Nascar Pro pedals for gas and brake.  I
have the brake and gas on two separate axis.  My wheel is connected to
the USB port while my pedals are hooked up to the gameport.  (My TM
wheel is busted).

Works excellent in GPL.  I like the HAT especially for looking left
and right.  However, I've been playing NFS HS lately, and I'm getting
my wheel to lock up.  Iow, it still shows as connected in the
gameports control window, but no motion.

I'm wondering what wheel/pedal combo's are out there nowadays.  A
shifter stick is a MUST.  I hate driving the F1 style.  Separate axis
for brake and gas is also a must!

I've heard some talks about the FF wheels - Logitech, and ACT come to
mind.  I've seen the Logitech pedals and there's no way I would use
them.  Does the ACT Labs wheel come with pedals that have 2 axis for
brake and gas?

Thanks,
Dave.

Its easy to fix the Andretti pedals to work very good. Otherwise, the Act
Labs, Guillemot Ferrari and LWFF all have split axis pedals. The Ferrari
comes with a stick shifter and paddles, the Act Labs has a stick shifter
option. Since pedals are a primary concern for you, it's worth mentioning
that the Ferrari pedals have a long, smooth motion, with no dead motion at
the ends.

Slot

PS   Wanna sell the Andretti pedals??
