Then you have to maunally assign the start and finishing position for the
driver you are assigning the provisional too. I generally give a provisional
as starting last, finishing last and assigning a fixed number of points
(ours is last place for that event, minus 4 points) and put in 0 laps run, 0
laps led, 0 Q time and 0 winnings. I use the reason out as DNS, Did Not
Start, kinda tells everyone that it is a provisional. If you don't fill in
everything (reasons for all the zeros above) the PC will not let you add the
person to the running order.
There may be a quicker way, but I have not found it. This method only takes
a minute and works.
