Joypad in Jeff Gordon demo?

The demo looks really cool, but it won't recognize my Thrustmaster
Rage3D gamepad. I have all the latest drivers, Directx, etc. Anyone
have any ideas? Is the demo controller setup just screwed?

Go to www.ascgames.com for the official Jeff Gordon XS Racing gold demo.
It's MUCH better than the previous demo that didn't have sound or any gee
whiz graphic effects, but it did have graphical oddities (probably
intentional but the effect the developers were going for didn't really come
out looking right). Oh yeah, there's actually a semblance of a game engine
in the official demo, unlike the other demo<g>.
