LWFF selling well

I went out yesterday to buy a Logitech Wingman Formula Force.  The big
new CompUSA not far from where I work was all out.  The nearby BestBuy
had one left.  The salesman told me that two days earlier, they had
been stacked up in front of his counter, as high as the counter.  When
I was checking that the remaining one was the new version (it was), he
said he'd have been amazed if it wasn't, at the rate they're turning
over their stock.  ($149 seems to be the going rate around here.)

I think this is excellent news.  People aren't buying LWFFs to play
Rogue Warrior!  It's also very promising that people are buying a good
quality wheel, when both of these stores had plenty of cheaper models.
I hope the game companies are paying attention, since every one of
these purchasers is pretty certain to be buying more racing games as
they come out.  The only uncertainty is whether they'll accept arcade
crap, or will want sims like successors to GP2 and GPL.

I've had my lwff for over a year now, and I'm still pleased.  Yeah, I could
stand to put in stronger pedal springs, and they could get rid of the squeel
when the wheel is cold, but other than that it's great.  Also I appreciate
the wingmanteam website; great info, and easy to talk to a real live human.
Thanks Logitech.

If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal.
