I want someone to build and market a FF wheel with Bluetooth wireless
technology! I tired of all these damn wires everywhere!

That's a very good question.  The birds nest behind my PC could use a few
less cables.  I hear Logitech have now created a supposedly 'Lag free'
wireless mouse so I doubt that there's any obstacle to creating a wireless
joystick/wheel (other than price)

Good thinking !
My MX 700 optical wireless mouse is supposedly almost lagfree.... I don't do
FPS games so I wouldn't know ;)
Maybe wireless wheels will be the same in the beginning, good enough for
casual drivers, but *** simracers will find them useless.

Other than the sheer amount of power that a FF wheel would require.
Be changing batteries on a regular basis.

They've got wireless joysticks; my roommate has one.  Really nice feel to it
too.

Nope, my mouse goes in the receiver unit which doubles as a recharger.
Fill in a score of rechargable batteries and you'll be driving for a few
days before recharging... it would suck big time to have it go dead in the
middle of a race mind you ;)

Your mouse also doesn't have a big motor generating forces in it which will
use a lot of power.

If it goes dead in the middle of a race you can pretend you are driving
a BAR Honda;)
