Exclusive Interview with Tony S on NHRA drag racing at my site

Well, after a 3 years of Compuserve I have called it quits and got GTE as my
ISP so this is my first vist here. Anyway I have been a tester for Tantrum
on NHRA drag racing ( Yes I can say this per my NDA) And I have screenshots
as well as in exclusive interview with Tony S of Tantrum Entertaiment on
NHRA dragracing. For those of you burnout fans, take a look and check out
the newest Drag sim to take the sim racers by there heart.

Yo Bud!

If you've called it "quits" on CIS, then you better start looking
for a new home for Catch Can, before it goes in the Trash Can.

Sorry for the less_than_humorous poetry.  =P

Cheers!

Marc

First off.  There is nothing to shift.  Top Fuel and Funny Car are direct drive.
What that means is no tranmission.

This is NHRA's way of leveling the field.

Cheers!

<snip>

If I can jump back into this thread again, I believe the answer to
that is:  yes, in both classes.  It was mandated by NHRA, a few years
back, as one means to get a handle on top speed, as well as (I think)
another attempt to control the number of engine explosions caused by
teams trying too many *** combinations of gearing, blower
overdrive, etc.  If you want to check on that sort of class
restriction, you'd have to go to the NHRA rulebook, available to any
member of the NHRA.  See www.nhraonline.com for rules info.
Brent:  correct me if I'm off the track here.
