Stop by and check out the new league that has started using Nascar2. We
will run the rest of the season along with the Winston Cup sched. As of now
we have only ran 1 race, So if you sign up you can still be in the running
for the season points. Let me know and I will tell you how you can still
make-up the race that was missed.

We will run the rest of season then start a winter series to give us
somewhere to run during the offseason. Hope to see you all there. !!!

Hey folks,

I haven't posted in a good long time..been really tied up working. Waht
I want to talk about is the extreme paranoia that I see...What ever
happened to simply running a race and sending a stats file for someone
to load up? I understand that there are many out there who would take
advantage of things and cheat a bit to make themselves look good. but
after readng yet another new series web site, I have to say that Its
just too much work to try to ensure the honesty of the competitors..and
frankly thats why I didn't race in the nsra-s division.

I love racing, I've done some RL racing in nascar sanctioned vehicles
and I'll tell you, when it comes to playing a game on my computer I sure
as hell don't feel its necessary to install entire new programs just to
get my stats posted next to everyone elses. why are we doing this to
ourselves? are we so wrapped up in being sure that NO-one is cheating
that we ahve to install full programs? or even add recording files like
offline.cfg to check up on ourselves? I know it may seem like nothing to
many of us.. heck just zip that lil file up and add this one and don't
forget your .PCX file from the end of the race........ and on and
on..all this, for what? For the knowledge that I didn't cheat and I can
prove it with alllllll these files? bullshit.

Does anyone realize that if someone wants to cheat bad enough, none of
this ***is going to make a difference? or come close to catching them?
Does anyone care that those people that cheat KNOW they got their stats
illegally? and that they KNOW they aren't as good as anyone else, no
matter how much shit they talk?

maybe I'm rambling for no good reason...I dunno...but my own offline
racing is limited to running races and filing away my stats for my own
use...in fact I've got a pile of them to put up on the TCRS site yet..my
friends and I have been running races for awhile but I haven't had the
time to redo the web site recently.

maybe I'm all wrong...but why do we work so damn hard to be sure that
the guy next door isn't cheating us out of a position? why aren't we
using that energy to just race and have fun...

Cheaters know in their own hearts that they are losers and that they
can't truly hang with the best. I know I'm not really close to teh best,
but I don't race to be the best, I race to have a great time and to
challenge myself to get faster and better and safer with each lap.
All this adding of files and installing of programs and saving
PCX's..its too much work to do JUST to play a damn game. It really ruins
the enjoyment afterwards when you finally do well, but you cant relish
in it much because you have to save teh damn files. Oh and of course
when I finish a race I wanna slam MY car in the wall..there is a
helluvan idea...yeah lets WIN this one so we can total the car
afterwards... who's terrific ***y idea was that anyway?

Anyways...thanks for reading, have a nice day and all that.

I like to donut down the frontstretch everytime I win so I usually end
up totaling the car anyways!  <g>  Anyways, you have a good point, thats
why I only join leagues where all you have to do is send in results,
period.  And the only reason I join leagues is to see how good I'am and
improve on it.
