Bart, (for lack of a better name) Before these guys here roast you
about how much of a moron you are because you can't do such a simple
thing. :)
I would guess that you have done a minimum install. There is a very
real bug in the program (contrary to what some here will tell you) that does
not allow you to load a saved setup if you do not do a full installation.
When you pull down the menu for saved setups the program checks
the CD for the setups, not the hard drive.
Hopefully there will be a patch for this, as it is going to be a real
problem for Joe Blow six-pack and Little Johnny by about New Years day
when they have learned enough to want to try to tweak a setup.
Nascar2 has little interest for me till I can either get a patch, buy
Partition Magic, or find the time to backup everything and re-partition my
hard drive. It is not much fun to have to reset everything each time you enter
a track. I have about half a Gig free on my disk, it is just not a partition that
DOS or Win95 can read.
So, if you have the space, just do a full install, otherwise wait for
a patch.
Hope this helps,
Ralph
