I'm about to buy a new computer. Would like to here from people on what
they're running Nascar 1999 on smoothly. At what frame rate ect. Would
an AMD K6-2 be recomended for Nascar1999 or the future Nascar3\2000
coming out this year. I know and plan to include a Voodo card when I
buy.
Any sugestions? Thanks...

If you're looking for a proccesor just for NASCAR1999, the AMD K6-2 should
be just fine, especially with the Voodoo. N3/2000's sys requirements have
yet to be seen, so I can't really offer anything on that, but I'm pretty
sure it will require a fairly fast system.

SOYO 6bb Motherboard
Enlight MidTower Case
Quantum Fireball 5.1gig  udma HD
Celeron 300a running at 374mhz
Yamaha WF192XG soundcard (pci card)
USR 56k faxmodem (isa)
64meg PC100 RAM
16MB Voodoo Banshee AGP
CH Racing System (Wheel & pedals)
17" Mag monitor (16" viewable)

Check out www.tccomputers.com they can custom configure for you.  Have not
had any problems with this set-up.

PS. DO NOT buy a winmodem. Spend the money on a good faxmodem, it is worht
it. Winmodems will drag down the computer when *** online.

yes winmodems do slow down computers but there are that do not put any drag
at all on the machine I build and sell and fix computers in a small store so
I see all kinds of different modems and systems granted I would rather have
a hardware modem the next best one I have found that I am using is the
creative modem blaster 56kflex v90 modem works absolutely great on any phone
line  clean or noisy fast connect speed  around 46,667 connect generally but
there is my 2 cents
