i read somewhere about the setups used by other players in thier
hotlaps and using them to see how you would do with that setup but for
the life of me i dont know how to extract the setup from a downloaded
hotlap off the net.can anyone tell me how its done.

Well, if it works like in GP 1 all you need to do is load the replay,
watch it to the end, press unpause, then go to the pits.
Go into the garage and the setup should be what was in the hotlap.
It's possible that you may not need to unpause and just go to the garage,
but I haven't tried it to be sure.
