I'm curious, how much RAM would one need to save a two-hour replay in ICR2? And
how long would it take to transmit at 28.8? Not that i'm going to compete,
but... :)

I think the way to do it, is to save the RACE, and send that file to
your teamate, who will continue the race.
And that file in in the Track directory, and shouldn't be that big.

Yeah, you won't have to send in any replays. Just the saved race to your
team mate and to the governing body.
Correct. They'd like you to pit somewhere between 30 and 75 laps and then
trade off with your teammate, who will drive another 30-75 laps, and swap back
to you, or the 3rd teammate if you have one. Personally, all my teammembers
are local, so we're having a giant caffine party for this race at my house.

Save a five minute replay and multiply everything by 24. Actually, the size
of a replay file depends greatly on the number of extra objects such as
sounds, smoke, parts flying around, ect.

The pole holder qualed at 1min37sec, I believe. Team Speed Racer qualed at
1min55sec, but since we qualed on the 1st day, we can't be bumped. <EG> We
start the race in 4th!!! And for a team of 3 rookies, I think that's purty
good.

No word if they cover it on the air though.
