Metro Games in Mebourne are the current distributors of Thrusty's
sticks and wheels. I think the dispute is over pricing, as this was
mentioned to me a while back by an ex-Metro sales rep (now hes with
Nintendo). Apparently Metro wanted to drastically reduce the price of
the wheels to be more competitive.
Forget Thrustmaster wheels unless you want something REALLY cheap and
just to muck around with. If you want a serious wheel try an Advantage
1 or the Logitech Force Feedback wheels.
There is a Dexxa wheel out for $99.95 which is apparently pretty good
in the value for money stakes, it looks reasonable, and some people
reckon they have VERY good pedals too.
