The best thing to do is ditch the GP cars and try the Advanced Trainers.
The GP cars are an absolute handful for beginners and you're really wasting
your time on them until you master the F2 cars.
Also, get a copy of the full game, it's WAY better then the demo.
You can get it for less than $10 on Ebay.
