Hi

I've just a big problem with the carsets out in the internet and the performance
editor.
I just installed version 3.2 of the 1996 Carset (I mean 3.1 did not work but I
just tried it). Well I have the following problem:

When I install the *.gpe files which means new perfonmances for every driver,
something is going wrong! There are always drivers who do not start
but rest on their place!! By this a race is impossible!!1

Is this because I'm using the german version?? And how can I turn the
german to the american?? Please help me if you are fammiliar with this!!

You're perfectly right Andi. The performance Editor used in this version
of the carset (GP2ED21.EXE) works only with the English version. The developper
(Slobodan Blanusa) told me that the next version will support other languages,
including the German version.
Meanwhile I recommend to download the PERFMAN.EXE from Juergen Hiller, which works
fine with the German version of the Game. You need to enter the car and driver
performance manually. You can find PERFMAN.EXE on Pieter van Dieren's fantastic
GP2 web page http://cervino.vol.it/GP2/gp2utils.htm (sorry, can't make a link).

Look at that driver car number/name, and use a performance editor (PERFMAN,
GP2ED21,etc...) and you'll probably see that driver that has either grip or
horsepower set to 0... modify the setting and the problem will be fix.Eric
