Peter Varey put in a stunning performance in this second round of the
championship, capturing the win and fastest lap bonus point and nearly
getting the pole position. Peter Gibbons just pipped varey for the
pole position by less than a tenth of a second. Round one winner Sonny
Van Hook also put in a good performance finishing fourth. The major
complaints of the weekend were traffic problems which caught several
of the favourites out. A record four DNF's were recorded on this circuit
which leaves no room for error and tests a drivers ability to cope
with high speed corners and low speed hairpins.
