Notebook racing?

Notebook racing?

So, what options exist for someone like me who have a notebook as
a desktop replacement, and hence the only machine?  It's a P150,
so GPII runs well enough (with certain details off) as does
ICR2.  First I guess a better control input is in order, as I'm
getting tired of smoking the tires, but it's acceptable in GPII.
And Rally Championship is surprisingly fun and "slidy" with KB.
Gameports are availble for the PCMCIA.  If I stick with these
sims I'm happy.

But damn, there's all these nice new driving and flight sims now.
What I'm really curious about is the possibility of getting 3dfx
for this.  I think I read somewhere that there is a PCI slot
interface that goes through the PCMCIA port.  Would it then be possible
to add a Monster board into (oustide of, actually) my machine?
Or would this never work?  The PCMCIA slots in my notebook are
32-bit CardBus.
