"Stunts" is cool!!!

After hearing about "Stunts" here during the past week, I was at the
mall today and there it was, in the bargain software section.  I've
played it several hours - obviously it's lacking a bit in the graphics
department as compared to current games, but still it's really awesome!
Designing your own tracks is really fun too.  I keep thinking while I'm
playing, though, how great it would be if Broderbund would come out with
"Stunts II" with updated graphics, slightly better control, modem capability,
etc., etc....  I'd be first in line to buy that.

Anyway, I don't have any cool tracks of my own designed yet, but I would
be interested in trading tracks in the future if anybody else is.  It looks
like we could just uuencode and mail them.  Maybe somebody could set up
a mailing list?

I too would like to see this, hmm since the Papyrus people seem to
read this area... maybe they could?.... :)

I'm all for trading tracks(mine can get pretty wild!)
UUEncode would be perfect since the files are usually
under 2k.

Well, I don't know about everyone else, but to me this sounds like
definite mailing list material.  Does anybody with Stunts have the
capability to set up such a list.  Geez, all you really need is an
account we can mail to with a .forward file which contains all of the
list members' addresses.  Does anyone have the capability to create
an account for that purpose?  (I don't)

"Stunts" is cool!!!

I think about 1 year ago, there was a wave of interest in stunts
and someone set up a directory at wuarchive.  If I remember correctly
there were many tracks there (over 50).  I was going to check before
posting this message but I haven't been able to get onto wuarchive
in over a month...everytime there are too many anonymous logins.

So try  "ftp://wuarchive.wustl.edu/"

the directory is something like /MSDOS_UPLOADS/stunts/

Also, I bought my first PC (a 386) solely on the basis of this
game.  Even to this day, the playability ranks up there with the
best of games.

These are my personal opinions...
