The Hyperstimulator should work just fine with the Soundblaster Live
card. I'm running a Live here, and every stick or wheel I've tried with
it has worked flawlessly. the Hyperstimulator is essentially a high
quality wheel/'pedal unit in a very nice expensive wrapper, so it should
work with the Live too.
As far as whether it will work with a Voodoo2 card... if you're buying
any sort of proprietary large screen display with the Hyperstimulator,
you may run into compatibility issues. If you intend to use a regular
computer monitor, it won't matter what display card you use. If you go
with a big screen television as your display, then you'll need a video
card that provides TV-out functionality. There are a few Voodoo2 cards
that feature this, the Canopus Pure 3DII and the Miro Hiscores are two
that come to mind.
