INDYCAR hack (& drag racing).

I have only just discovered this news group so I apologise in advance
if this query has already been asked.

I have just recently bought a copy of INDYCAR v1.01E.  Excellant game!!
The only annoying 'feature' is that everytime I run it I have to look up the
book for a certain word that is prompted for.  Now I realize the purpose of
this but as I have a legitimate copy I find this very frustrating.  A friend of
mine told me that he has a friend with a copy of WORLD CIRCUIT that also has
this type of protection.  Apparently he came across a TSR 'hack' for it that
disables this word prompt.  I am only assuming that if you have bought the
game that this is not breaking any copyright laws????  If this is the case,
does anyone know of a similar hack for INDYCAR.  Please send any replies to
me directly.

While I have your attention, does anyone know of a Drag racing
simulator.  I'm not sure how easy it would be to program such a beast to be
interesting to play, but if there are any I would like to check them out.

        Thanks in advance,
        Andrew Vellnagel.

It's a damn poor mind that can only think of one way to spell a word.

There is a shareware drag racing simulator in the motorsports library of
CompuServe's Sport Simulation. I haven't tried it so can't say whether it is
any good. Its called something like Drag Race, and may well be available
somewhere on the net...
