Test Drive 5 - In car view?

I'm thinking about purchasing Test Drive 5 for my son for Christmas.
For me though, I'd like to know if the real game includes an in car
view when driving.  From the driver's perspective instead of above the
car.

Also, does the real game REQUIRE a 3D card.  The demo version does.

Thanks.

Ive gotten it, Its not a really good racing simulator. Unless you collect
car racing games, id pass on it. But it compares to being a little
slower/less impressive than
NFS3.

If you have the hardware (3D), get him Viper Racing instead.  It is
much, much more enjoyable.

Or, maybe Nascar 1999 if you don't have 3D, but still have a reasonably
fast processor.

Personally, I think GPL is a bit tough for youngins'...

And to answer Tim's question on TD5 having a incar view. It does. But its as
if a camera was put on the back and front bumper, depending on what view you
are looking at, cause you can look back.
TD5 is good as kind of an arcade car game. For more realism, I hope to get
Need for Speed 3, as you can use headlights and drive in different types of
weather.
Hope this helps,

>Tim, make your son REALLY happy and buy an inexpensive Voodoo
