N4 league looking for a few racers...

The Western States Racing League will be starting it's 6th season of on-line
NASCAR racing in early February, 2002!  Our seasons are 15 points races
long, with a few non-points events thrown in.  The upcoming season will run
through mid-June.

We have three series ....

Mondays are open setup, track average temperature, realistic damage, and
follow the WC schedule where possible.

Tuesdays run fixed <fast> setup, following the WC schedule when possible,
70* temps, and moderate damage.

Fridays run with open setups, track average temperature, and realistic
damage.

All three series run 35% length races.

Being a west coast based league, our race sessions have qualifying at
8:15PST (11:15EST).  Each race session opens for practice at 6:45PST,
allowing the racers a full 90 minutes of practice before each race.  The
events conclude around 10:00PST.

I am currently seeking a few drivers for each of our series.  In the Monday
& Friday open setups series', it is required that new drivers have at least
one season of on-line racing under their belt (N4 or GPL).  The fixed series
is more lenient towards rookie drivers, but still requires that you are in
good control of your car.

The WSRL has it's own server which is located in southern California. The
server is made available 24-7 to league racers so that they can practice
on-line for their upcoming races.

If you are interested in trying out for the WSRL, let me know!

N4 league looking for a few racers...

I live on the east coast so I think I'll pass, unless "sleep-racing"
is OK with the rest of the drivers...  Good luck with your league.

I do have a question though.  How/where did you get the "track average
temperature" data?

Gerald

Too bad you live on the east coast, Gerald. ;)

Track average temps are in each track's folder, in the "track.ini" file.
It's in the "weather" section.
