N4 rearview mirror options

Is there a way to use the rearview mirror in N4 without the rollbars, window
frame, spolier etc showing? Could be old age but I could swear that before the
patch I was using the mirror with no "cage" disrupting the view. Can change
from high, medium and no mirror with the M key but can't lose the distracting
framework. Anyway to do this??
TIA

Press 'N', but it's much harder to see if cars are behind or next to
you with the frame turned off.. it will spare you 1 fps or so but imho
it's necessary to leave it on for safe driving.

I dont know Andre, I never use it and I have no problem seeing where the
cars are. I think its what ever you get use to. Just my 2 cents

Ofcourse you're right Doug. But I turned it off in the beginning to
save every possible fps (had a slower pc back then) and it was very
hard for me to judge wether a car was behind or near me.
When I turned the frame on again, it helped me bigtime.

Thanks for the help folks. I actually feel a lot more comfortable with the
frame turned off.
